Breakfast Room
The sunny breakfast room is the perfect setting for the daily morning feast. Join other guests around the large antique rimu table, seated on comfortable leather chairs.
The backdrop is a wealth of native woods, Nelson pottery, a large collection of English china, antiques and
curios.

Hallway
On entering this substantial bed and breakfast, once home to one of the first Nelson families, you discover a sumptuous hall lined with English oak.
An abundance of warm native woods, including matai and kauri, are complemented by the rich colours of the carpet, paintwork and silk- textured dado border.
All these are illuminated by stained glass door panels and ceiling skylight, just a small selection of the 24 windows and panels in the house, featured in the New Zealand History of Stained Glass.
